What does it take to learn how to walk again?
At their first clinic day, it can be challenging for future ReWalkers to know what to expect. We asked one of our expert ReWalkers, Derek Herrera to reflect on his early training experiences with the ReWalk Personal Exoskeleton to help future walkers better prepare for the mental and physical effort that accompanies the exoskeleton training process.
In his words: “To be successful in training, I think the most important thing is just to have the right mindset, keep a positive attitude, and just understand that it’ll take a little bit of time to learn – but then once you do, it provides such independence and freedom on the back-end that it’s well worth it.”
